1) Our commitment & scope
iConic Translation World Pvt Ltd is committed to making our digital properties usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and users across all proficiency levels and job grades—from executives and procurement to project managers, linguists, and individual customers.
This statement covers our public websites, forms, downloadable content, and support interactions. It also guides how we design and deliver client-facing portals and project assets.
2) Standards & conformance target
- Target standard: WCAG 2.2 AA conformance for web content and web apps.
- Where applicable: we aim for WCAG AAA on critical text contrast and error prevention patterns.
- Status: Substantial conformance with ongoing improvements (see Section 11).
3) Governance, roles & accountability
- Executive ownership: Accessibility is included in our product and brand quality objectives.
- Accessibility lead: A named owner coordinates design, engineering, and publishing standards.
- Cross-functional reviews: Design, engineering, QA, and content teams follow an accessibility checklist before release.
- Escalation: Accessibility issues are triaged with SLA targets and executive oversight.
4) Measures we implement
- Inclusive design: early checks for color contrast, type scales, spacing, hit-targets, and motion sensitivity.
- Semantic HTML & ARIA: landmarks, headings, lists, labels, and ARIA roles used appropriately.
- Keyboard-first QA: all interactive controls reachable and operable via keyboard.
- Continuous audits: automated scans + manual screen reader passes on key templates and releases.
- Defect handling: accessibility defects are logged, prioritized, and verified post-fix.

7) Key accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation: logical tab order, visible focus states, skip-to-content and landmark navigation.
- Contrast & color: minimum 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI elements; color is not the sole means of conveying information.
- Typography & reflow: content supports 200% zoom and responsive reflow without loss of functionality.
- Images & icons: meaningful

text; decorative images marked appropriately. - Forms: programmatic labels, instructions, error prevention and clear error messages, with ARIA live regions for status updates.
- Headings & structure: semantic headings in hierarchical order; list semantics for grouped content.

8) Documents, PDFs & media

- Video & audio: captions provided for new public videos; transcripts for essential audio content.
9) Third-party content & integrations
Our sites may include third-party components (e.g., payment gateways, embedded maps, video players). While we select reputable providers and configure them for better accessibility where possible, some aspects may be outside our control. If you face an issue with a third-party component, please notify us—see Section 12.
10) Testing & audits
- Automated scans: run on core templates to catch regressions early.
- Manual reviews: keyboard-only checks and screen-reader passes (NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver/TalkBack) on key flows.
- Periodic audits: scheduled reviews of high-traffic pages and critical tasks (quote, contact, checkout).
- User feedback: issues reported by users are logged, prioritized, and confirmed post-fix.
11) Known limitations & roadmap
- Legacy PDFs: some older PDFs may not be fully tagged. Remediation: replacing high-use assets; alternative formats on request.
- Third-party checkout widgets: minor focus order inconsistencies may occur. Remediation: vendor escalations + in-page guidance.
- Rare embedded charts: extended descriptions may be requested by email. Remediation: adding data tables or alt summaries.

13) Reasonable accommodations
If you need an alternative method to access information or complete a task (for example, receiving content in a different format or placing an order by phone/email), we will provide reasonable accommodations.

14) Procurement & vendor requirements
- Vendors providing digital components must support WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and share a current Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR/VPAT) on request.
- We assess vendor accessibility posture during onboarding and contract renewal.
15) Legal & policy alignment
Our accessibility program is aligned with internationally recognized web standards (WCAG) and supports applicable obligations under relevant laws and policies. Where a specific regulation requires stricter controls, those will prevail.
